Jack Evrensel is known for his attention to detail and hospitality, with each of his restaurants—Araxi, CinCin, Blue and West—firmly established as leading and popular dining venues. Every restaurant Jack has opened has received significant critical acclaim, both locally and internationally and each continues to evolve in the pursuit of excellence.
He is a founding board member of the Chefs' Table Society and The Podium Club which benefits the Canadian National Ski Team. As a member of the James Beard Culinary Foundation since 1998, Jack has brought teams of chefs and sommeliers to support the James Beard House in New York City (in 2006, 2002 and 1998). He was the first Honorary Chair of Taste of the Nation and supports many causes including the David Suzuki Foundation, Chefs for Life, Ocean Wise, British Columbia Hospitality Foundation and the Green Table Society.
